Hello!
I don't know it. So I made my own
original story.
The human beings caught too much octopuses in the Meiji Era. So octopuses attacked human beings. They were very bright and blew on sumi to human beings and they used a gun and defeated human beings.
Please tell me the real story.
See you.
Hello! I really like your story! You think they are human beings? If you look very closely, maybe you will notice they are different...
Hello.
It is not surely a human being. Is that a ghost? If it is a ghost, I can't imagine it what kind of story a true story is.
I do not understand why octopuses hold a gun.
Hello Joshua!!!
I can't understand what it means.
But I think that the people were fighting with alien.
They were strong very much.
So people couldn't win them.
I want to know the real story!!
GOOD BYE...
Hello,Joshua.
I haven't seen a picture like this.
Why do octopuses fight against tateres?
It seems to me that octopuses are very angry.
I can't make funny story, so I'm going to give my thoughts on this picture.
I was suprised that I couldn't read scripts on this picture.
For example,I could't read a chinese character on the flag which a tater has.
And
I much like the motifs of the clothes.
Ther colors and unique motifs are beautiful :D
I got interested in Japanese pictures! Please show us the others some day and please tell me why did you get interested in Japanese pictures.
I'm sorry.I made mistakes...X0
Please tell me why you got interested in Japanese pictures.
Good evening!!
Well...
I know nothing about it.
So I make original story!
I wont you to read it(´`●))
Octopuses vs Mysterious creatures!!
Oneday, Octopuses were very poor.
They were very troubled. Mysterious creatures were so rich! They were rich life.Octopuses were envy Mysterious creatures.
So,Ther fight began...
Oh,verey sad story.
I want to know the real story!
★Good-night★
Hello Egashira Shin-ichiro,
No, its not a ghost. I'll give you a hint: Like octopus, it is also something that Japanese people like to eat.
Hello Yusuke,
Alien is a good guess, but that's not right. I'll tell you the real story later.
Hello Hiroko,
You are the first person to guess correctly: they are potatoes! How did you learn the word "tater?"
I like the colors and patterns too! Ukiyo-e always has interesting colors and patterns, thats one of the reasons I like it so much.
Hello Mana Kawanobe!
Your story is good - I like it! I'll tell you the real story later.
Hello! Joshua☆
We can't understand what it means.
So, we'll make an original story.
It is war of cuttlefishes and taters.
And, a leader of cuttlefishes' group is an octopuse.
Cuttlefishes want to eat these taters.
So, those taters are very angry.
But cuttlefishes are very very hungry. because they didn't eat nothing for one week.
・・・・・。
We can't imagine any more (><)o
Please tell us the real story.
Hello!
I've seen this picture once when I was in the sixth grades.
It's satirical drawing about Boshin War.
I don't know its detail, but there are a lot of parts we can imagine.
I think octopases mean government of Edo. Because inmost octopas is wearing a Eboshi. "Eboshi" is one of old costumes.
Round-faced people are potato!
A parson watering big octopas has a white flag.
It is written "Bottle of Japanese yam shop."
(Of course I've never drink it^^)
I think people probably mean a new order : government of Meiji.
Boshin War is warfare between old and new(Edo and Meiji). Eventually Meiji won.
So this picture may be squibing the end of Edo period.
But I appear they are training Kendo^^
hello! joshua!
I don't know the real story.
But I think it is a battle between humans and octopuses.
Humans eat octopases. But it means octopases are killed by human.
Octopases noticed that and rose in rebellion...
Would you tell me the real story?
See you.
Hi! Joshua
I don't know the real story.
But I think it means battle between Japanese and foreigners.
Probably Japanese was afraid of foreigners at those days.
So Japanese looked foreigners like octopuses.
I want to know real story.
Goodbye
Hello!!
I can't understand what it means.
So I made an original story.
I think that people fought against
invader.
But surprisingly they were very strong,so people were in great trouble.
People fought hard finally they surrendered, then Japan became a powerful nation.
I want to know a real story.
See you.
We're winner!
And thank you Joshua!!!
We miss you;;
Furuya,Hotozuka,Maekubo,Maeda,Masuda,Machilda and Miura.
We can't understand what it means.
So, we'll make an original story.
I think people tried to catch these big octopuses.
In this period, people liked sushi very much.
When they discovered them, they thought "We can make a lot of sushi and eat them!!!!!"
So,they were fighting.
That is my story(.△゜)
Please tell me the real story.
